Vehicle Detail
NOTE THAT THIS BIKE IS NO RESERVEUnrestored and mostly original 1973 Honda CL450 Scrambler. I have completed the difficult stuff and it is now a nice rider. Not cosmetically perfect, but a good 20-footer. Pipes are solid, seat not ripped, gauges work, starter button not broken, all original tins, (tank & side panels). So it's 90% done and mainly just needs cosmetics and the following: ** Left front turn signal not operational, but the bulb comes on when I wiggle it, so it's probably just a connection ** The blinkers blink slow--could be a flasher or just low battery, (it's new this year but I have not put a charge to it) ** Fouls a plug on the right side once in a while--may be points...condenser, maybe an airbox issue? ** The mirrors are aftermarket. Recently done: chain, rear sprocket, fork boots, fork seals, timing adjustment/tune, misc other stuff. The tires are brand new, as the pics will show. The extra tins: My thought was to save the original tank & side panels, (they're only original once), and then use extra sets to create the color combinations I think would look good on the bike. I've always wanted to see this bike in a deep pearl green with either the graphics in white/silver or white/yellow orange, so I had graphics made up in both combinations. I also had a couple sets of the bat wing graphic in case I wanted to go in that direction, (which is actually the 1972 gold tank shown). I have not started work on the tanks pictured, but that was going to be my winter project upcoming. But we have down-sized our home and I no longer have room to keep the bike and do these projects. With no extra room, I must get this bike sold. Somebody has asked me what a "Buy-it-Now" price would be. So I have added this to the listing. The graphics and extra tins are NOT included in this ebay sale, but could be negotiated with the winning bidder.
