I am selling my 1979 MGB. This is a very solid car. It appears to have been undercoated when it was new, so no rust. At some point in the not too distant past someone gave this a very nice PPG paint job. The speedometer shows 63,591 miles which I don’t know if it is correct on not. However, it must be close because it drives nice, not like a car with high mileage. The convertable top is also in nice shape. I have too many projects, so this toy must go. You are welcome to give it a test drive. New or replaced in the last few years: Paint, tires, brakes, gas tank, muffler, battery, alternator, starter, spark plugs, electronic ignition, stereo. The biggest issue with this car is that the 3rd gear synchro is weak. I always down shift to 2nd from 4th and back to 3rd. Also, the wiring could use so sorting out. There are few things the wiring needs to be worked on. Like the wipers are unplugged. Not sure why, I’ve never driven this in the rain. Note there are some shadow reflections in the photos. The paint job is very good. Selling as is where is USA buyers only.
