1957 Corvette 270HP 4 speed 2 tops. Very late production car 100th form the end built August 1957. I rescued this car form a garage in Connecticut several years ago. It had been sitting for 35 years. This is a real 270HP 283 cubic in car. The engine block is not original to the car The cylinder heads, distributor, intake, pulleys, generator, manifolds and radiator are original. The engine is completely rebuilt to the 270HP specifications including the solid lift cam. All the brakes have been redone new wheel cylinders, master cylinder, brake shoes, spring kit and drums was turned. This 57 is solid no rust anywhere still has the original brake lines. New exhaust (off road style round mufflers). The interior is nice new seat covers, carpet and door tops. Door panels are original. Just installed a new Stay fast convertible top and restored top frame. The body is good but has had a repair on the left front corner. Paint is old and chipped everywhere. The chrome is very nice on the car but the windshield post has pitting. Everything works on this car except the tachometer. It is removed to get it rebuilt but is included. The wipers, interior lights, radio, speedometer, horn, turn signals and all the lights work This little 57 runs and drives flawlessly My wife and I drive is everywhere even on 100mi drives, very reliable dose not over heat or do anything other than what is should do.
