Hi, you are bidding on my 1997 lx 450. I've owned this thing for almost 9 months now. It's a great truck, but we just don't need it anymore. I will try my very best to describe everything I know about the truck since my ownership. Thank you and happy bidding. Exterior: The paint is in very good shape. Besides some dried up bird poop that i didn't want to scrape off because I wasn't sure if I was going to make matters worst. There's no major oxidation on the body, but the fenders and bumpers have some. Interior: Interior is also great. No major rips. Front seats have been redone, but only on the bottom seats. The upholstery guy couldn't find the perfect match so the shade is a tad bit off. There's also no major fading in the faux wood grain trim pieces. Engine: I've done the oil changes on time using Toyota oil filter. I've also replaced the starter and had a magnaflow exhaust put on. It has a nice quiet deep tone. If I were to keep the truck the next thing to do was the birfield. I'm not sure if the last owner did it or not. The truck does leak a little bit. I think it's coming from the oil pan. Not 100% sure. Had the brakes inspected, plenty of life left. It does have a very slight pulsation when braking abruptly at fast speed. Shop said it was fine, but I think it might be some warped roters. Not 100% sure about that either. I was going to change that when doing the birfield. Other than that, it purrs. A/C blows cold. Just recently passed smog. Suspension, body and Tires: Stock suspension with 1 year old Michelin tires. Body is in good condition. Previous owner hit something and scraped the bumper end caps. I wasn't too worried because an arb bumper was going to take it's place. There's some surface rust underneath. Nothing serious. Things that don't work or work off and on: Driver side window. All the other windows roll up and down fine, but the driver side is finicky. You have to press it a few times for it to roll down. I find that if you press up once with it than press down it works 95% of the time. I freak out at the drive through every time. The "d" light on the dash doesn't work when you put it in drive. All the other ones work, but that one. Not sure what that's all about. The antenna motor doesn't work. The light on the stereo doesn't aluminate at night. It too is finicky.
