Vehicle Detail
2005 Lotus Elise in gorgeous Saffron yellow color. The car was modified (details below) to accommodate tall drivers, but can easily be brought to stock for any driver). 44K Miles. Clean title. The car starts, runs and drives well. Engine sounds amazing and transmission shifts well. All the electrical parts work. ACT HDSS heavy duty clutch feels great. Lightweight aluminum flywheel. All fluids are up to date. The paint is excellent. The car has the rear clam tilting kit from BOE for easier access to engine bay. The aftermarket interior is mint. The suspension and brakes are upgraded and in excellent shape. lotus sport yellow adjustable sway bar, and upgraded MONOballs suspension bushings from Sector111. ULTRAdisc brake rotors from Sector111 all 4 corners. Upgraded brake pistons and brake lines. LSS wheels (secured with BMW wheel bolts) and Toyo R888 tires in excellent shape. The paddles were modified to have extra 3 inches of leg room (this is reversible, in case you have short legs). Fits drivers up to 6'5" at least, but can be brought back to stock for shorter drivers. . The seats are custom aluminum Sector111 seats designed for tall driver and provide great lateral support. They were upholstered with a yellow "curvy road" pattern. There are Willans 6-point belts for the driver and 5-point belts for the passenger. The rear window was removed but I have the whole setup if you want to install it back. Other modifications include BOE silent stick exhaust, BOE 5 element diffuser, Safecraft fire extinguisher, Valentine V1 radar detector, Odyssey PC680 lightweight performance battery, B&M short shifter, Sector111 toe links, gPan oil pan, LETSLA shift linkage , fuel serge tank from BOE, battery shut off, NGK air/fuel gauge from BOE, folding Fischer cup holders , Jim Clayton trunk prop rods, and more. The car has a special roll bar (fabricated by Mariah Motorsports) to allow more headroom. Also, the real speaker pane and roll bar cover were removed. If you want to bring the car back to stock you have to remove the roll bar, install the real window and panels, roll bar cover and some other small fiberglass pieces. I have all the pieces to bring it back to stock if you want, which will be included in the sale. The taller roll bar interferes with the stock soft top or hard top so right now the car has no hardtop or soft top.
