1972 Corvette w/matching numbers. Base 350-w/4 speed Muncie transmission. The color is the rare Steel Cities Gray, beautiful! I have owned this car since 1988 and hate to sell it! The engine has about 20K since the rebuild in 1989, which is when the car was repainted as well. This car has been sitting for the last 10 years. As can be seen from the photos, this car is in dire need of everything, paint, interior, brakes, gas tank, etc. The last time I started it, this month, it ran fine. It does have substantial frame rot in the rear by the differential that needs repair before this car can safely be driven. (see photos) It has no gas tank, it rotted out, and needs a rear spring. It would be best to replace the frame and do a ground up restore on this car. I would do it but I’m too old and don’t have the patients. I have all parts for this car although it is mostly disassembled. Including wheel rings and centers, window moldings and engine chrome. It has new BF Goodrich tires and new windshield w/correct date, recent carburetor and good chrome on the bumpers. Last time it ran the headlights worked too. It is all-original, except for the master cylinder, it scored a 92 in 1990 at the Joliet Corvette Club car show. This car can not be driven. Please respond with any questions or if you want more pics.
