For sale is my 1948 MG TC. Matching numbers. Originally Clipper Blue, rare color, Relisted with lower reserve. Must be moved promptly by winning bidder as we are moving house. Completely torn down to the chassis, chassis cleaned and painted, reassembly started. The wood in the body was bad so all new wood was ordered. Again, assembly was started. As you can see much of the hard work has been done. Engine dismantled for inspection. The cylinder head has been cleaned and crack-tested and is good. Twin SU's with the car. Air cleaner canister missing. All sheet metal present, windscreen frame included, and in good condition - see pictures. Gas tank good. Soft top mechanism with the car but no side screens. A beautiful solid wood dashboard is included - I think it is Walnut. Switch panel is almost complete. I have the speedometer and tachometer but the small clock is missing. It will of course need a new wiring harness. A very worthwhile and desirable project that will reward the new owner with an iconic English sports car. Clear California title in hand. $1000 deposit required within three days To be clear the car is still apart. Engine and gearbox are sitting in the chassis. It must be moved promptly!
