2007 Vespa GTS 250ie This is a beautiful, functional town and highway scooter capable of cruising at 70 mph. The original owner had a pair of Vespas that mostly sat until 4 years ago when I bought this one with 400 miles on it. I replaced the battery, voltage regulator (a weakness on early GTS models) and all the fluids including the oil, coolant, rear end and brakes. I also replaced the tires because of their age. Since then, the scooter has been 100% reliable including completing four 1,000 mile tours. Recent work includes an oil and filter change, another coolant change, belt, roller and guide change (regular transmission maintenance which is done every 9,000 miles) and a new rear tire. All maintenance has been done ahead of schedule and I keep full maintenance records. Tires are Michelin City Grips with Rideon tire balancer and sealer. Oh yes, I put a new gel battery in it last summer. Accessories include: *Genuine Vespa "fly screen" windshield - does wonders to keep the wind from pushing you back at higher speeds.*Automotive horn inside the bodywork. This is from Scooter West in San Diego. Great improvement!*Crash bars for the rear cowling.*Power port for charging your cell phone.*Brake light modulator to make you more visible.* Vespa GT 200 seat. This is an exact fit bolt on that is much more comfortable than the original seat. Have completed 300 mile days without saddle sores! What's wrong with it? Nothing. There are a few small dings and touch ups but the scooter still looks great. See the close up pictures for the dings. This is a get-on-and-ride-it scooter with no maintenance, repair or replacements needed. I have a video that I can text to you that shows it running. There are paint touch ups and there appears to be a crack in the center of the front edge. That is actually a hair that was laying on the fender. There are no cracks at all in the front fender. Also, I can deliver within 100 miles of Midland, Texas at the rate of $1.25 per loaded mile. If you want to fly in and ride the Vespa home, I would be glad to pick you up at the airport. I am confident that the bike itself is capable of going any distance.
