For Sale: 2005 BMW R1200GS. I am the 2nd owner of this fantastic motorbike. I purchased this non-Antilock brake model in 2008 with 8000 miles on it and we've traveled all over the country with it but now we are choosing to go another direction. It currently has 55,092 miles on it. This is by far, the greatest bike I've ever owned and I'm sorry to see it go but I do not need two bikes so this is the one that will be sold.Here is a list of some of the extras:- Custom Zebra tank covering - Bill Mayer custom seat- Tourtech front fork protector- Wilbers suspension- Remus custom exhaust (OEM included)- Throttle lock style cruise control- Removable Dauntless trailer hitch with trailer wiring (notice it mounted and removed) - AreoFlow windshield (OEM included)- Hepco & Becker Engine guard- Pelican top case- Jesse Luggage Pannier set- HID spot light (This thing is bright!)- Halogen flood light- MotoLight fork mounted assessory lights (a must on all of my bikes)- BMW tank travel bag- FLM day tank bag- Extra oil filters, tools, partsOk, here's the bad: - It needs tires. These will get you home within reason but that depends on how far you live from here. I'd put new on but I don't know what brand or type you'd prefer. - There is two wear spots or tears on the driver's seat. It really needs to be recovered. Bill Mayer said that he'd do it got about $100. I never got around to it by just putting new black duct tape on it and forgetting about it.Really, that's it. That's all that is wrong with it. It was made to be ridden and that is what we did with it. It still looks great and rides awesome. There are scratches here and there but that is to be expected with a motorbike that was enjoyed.Check my other listing as I also have the trailer for sale.
