This 2-Owner Falcon Futura Convertible is a true California Black Plate Convertible and being sold on a Clean and Clear California Title. The California Black Plate seen in the following photos is still embossed on the title proving it to have never left California until now. This California Black Plate Falcon Futura features the first model year 260 C.I. V8 engine linked to a 2-Speed Ford-O-Matic Automatic Transmission. In addition, it is equipped with a Power Convertible Top, Heater and Factory Radio. The documents and receipts that come with the car indicate the Engine, Transmission and Rear Axle were rebuilt between 2001 and 2003 and also a recent complete rebuild of the transmission in February of 2018 and also includes a Fresh Flow Master Exhaust and the car has a super sweet throaty tone. This 1963 Falcon has a super solid rust free body from top to bottom. The flor pans and trunk pan are all original due to being in the California Climate. All glass is good and in addition has a newer vinyl power convertible top. This Falcon Futura received a complete repaint and interior and was restored to factory original in 2003 and she still looks great to this day. In addition, the standard 13-inch wheels have been changed out to 14- Inch Wheels with Factory Wire Caps and tires which defiantly adds to the look and handling of the car.
