This truck is excellent for its age and millage. Starts up easy, Runs and Drives perfectly. All lights work (headlights, brakelights, turn signals). I have owned the truck for 3 years and it sat outside for a year. Due to this it has developed surface rust on the bed. Previous to this the truck underwent a full frame off restoration so it is in great condition besides the bed surface rust. Other little issues that I have noticed are the speedometer doesn't read out speed. The odometer and fuel gauge work fine but the speedo needle doesn't move. The truck starts, shifts, drives, brakes, and turns flawlessly. All the issues mentioned are minor cosmetic problems. The truck has the 1978 H engine, a flat 6 cylinder toyota diesel that is known for being bulletproof and surviving for a million miles in some cases. This truck was originally imported from Costa Rica. The HJ45s were extremely rare in the U.S. market.
