Vehicle Detail
Recently installed brand new wall mounted TV/DVD combo with USB and HDMI ports, new Phillips speaker to connect your phone. Air Conditioner, microwave, oil change, valve cover gaskets. The auction includes many extras which come with the truck, including a small gasoline generator - you'll never run out of juice in this rig. The toilet and shower equipment are also brand new never used. This build is largely made from re-used and repurposed materials. It’s a lovely truck but it’s not supposed to be fancy, just functional. But this isn’t way better than a motorhome in so many ways. They all leak. They smell funky. They're made from cheap materials and have a lousy fit and finish. They have mechanical problems and chug fuel because they have gas motors. This thing is built well, built to last and will never leak unless you drive it into a bridge! You'll have this for 20 years with basic maintenance and shouldn't need to put a dime into it for several years. 113k miles on a 7.p3 powerstroke turbodiesel just getting broken in, automatic. Six brand new tires. New water pump. Cold air intake and larger turbo. It appears to be an upgrade over the factory turbo. If I were keeping it, I would spend the money on a performance exhaust and chip to get the most of this incredible motor. Good mileage for a truck this heavy. Recently inspected. No dash lights or mechanical concerns. I'm about to pull the wheels and go through the brakes this week. Everything works although this has been properly decommissioned, so no sirens or flashing lights. Register it as an f350 cab and chassis. There is one rusty spot on the driver’s fender which will need attention. Otherwise, the body is almost rust free. Very clean. The fender rot is clearly caused by water collecting behind a small mud flap. Fantastic option for a lone traveler or a couple. The foldaway bed is very comfortable and firm, surprisingly so. A former support service vehicle with an insulated wheeled coach ambulance box, this is equally capable in the city and on the open road. Handles Snow well. Easy to drive. Can tow anything - see attached photo! (I would sell with the 38' 2005 travel trailer as well - it’s a project) The uses are practically limitless. Pull a cargo trailer and have your own sleeper cabin. This currently has a 8000lb tow capacity. It has four batteries charged by a 300 amp alternator and a 1500watt inverter for electricity as well as shore in external power. TONS of storage inside and out for food, water, gear. The weather was lousy today, but there is also rooftop storage. The roof will hold 300 pounds easily. You could take this up to some remote place and have everything you need for at least two weeks, maybe even a month with enough water. Appliances and gadgets included with the sale: Small fridge no freezer Small Crock Pot Toaster Oven Coffee Maker Space HeaterMicrowave1500watt inverter180 watt inverter 500 watt gas generator Solar shower bag and privacy tentFour way hitchSteel hitch-mounted storage rack Sink with 10 gallon cold water tank22” flatscreen tv/dvdFlushing camp toilet - newRecord player Surround sound speaker and subwoofer It even has a turntable wired to a speaker on the cieling. This little motorhome has a small sink. Bucket style 1000w hot water heater. Portable toilet, outdoor solar shower, collapsible privacy tent for bathing and the toilet. The bed folds up into the wall like a Murphy bed. There are scene lights on the exterior to illuminate your campsite and a BRIGHT spotlight in the cab. This even has heated mirrors, every option. Drive it to California and back! Legendary 7.3 Powerstroke diesel motor. This is a no reserve auction starting at $1. Someone is going to get a great vehicle. The truck is for sale locally and I have been showing it. So it’s possible the auction could end early. Don’t miss out on this truck. I don’t know what it is going to for, but I expect lots of interest. If the auction goes over $12,000 I will deliver it to the winning bidder anywhere in the country. Happy to provide delivery quotes prior to the auction end as well. Can arrange shipping nationwide. Please ask questions, I’m happy to answer them. A photo can only show so much. Interior height isn’t 68”. I find the space to be very comfortable to move around in. With the shelves empty, it doesn’t have the warm homey look inside like when it’s stocked and on the road.
