We purchased this 1953 Chevy CarryAll to use as a prop for our Christmas Tree Farm, but found that it was enjoyable to drive. It runs very well and is a head turner. We are wanting to buy an old pickup for our tree farm instead, so it's time to sell. I doubt if I have covered all questions about this fine vehicle so message me if you need more details. New stuff:We cleaned and coated the gas tank and changed the fuel filter.We installed a new fuel float gaugeWe bought new wheels and tires from Coker. They have about 400 miles on them.We bought a new 6 volt battery. Pros:Heater works wellHas wing windows and a pop-up vent on hood for cool airGauges (except speedometer) work wellEngine and Transmission work wellStarts relatively easyIt's a classicClean and fun! Cons:One side of the front windshield is crackedPassenger window is crackedSpeedometer doesn't work. Odometer is stuck on about 62000Paint damage on back doorClear coat flaking on the roof and hoodWindshield wipers do not work well and one is missingHeadliner (cardboard) needs replacingOther interior trim needs replacingRearview mirror needs replacing.
