Vehicle Detail
I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle. Upon purchase, it needed some performance/recall work performed and the BMW dealer completed this at my request. The car has been great. It has some very small road rash nicks and/or scratches around front end, or back bumper, otherwise great body and no dents. Nothing is damaged, but at one point I put one strip of commercial velcro under drivers side BMW mat to hold in place, and so there is a slight black residue strip (not seen under mat) from where I removed the velcro and changed to some black rubber mats for a sporty look. Sunroof works great.. * Only one key that you place into ignition to 'touch start' from dash. Here's the work I have done. SELLING AS-IS upon purchase. --- Just registered --- has current tagsIf you are questioning any takata airbag issues, I had called BMW and verified this particular vehicle/vin# is not part of the defective airbag lawsuit. All four new tires about 11 months ago. Just replaced all radiator hoses/fuse due to small coolant leak, as well as a 'frion flush' and new frion. Before this was done, the car's a/c was freezing cold. I only took to shop due to a small coolant leak on my driveway one time AND the coolant light symbol was coming on. The mechanic did repairs. Two days later, the a/c will blow cold air but randomly lowers the coldness slightly, and then engine fan comes on. I called the shop to ask why, he said the fuse was bad and now that its replaced, its turning on fan.. so it's actually working now, but I have not looked into how to get the a/c back to top performance here. Positives are, a/c randomly goes cold or reduces to warm, so it is not the a/c. Fan is now functioning due to new fuse that sensors it on.. But i want to sell and will not look into what it needs. Like I said, the a/c worked like a charm right before the coolant leak and once I had new fuse replaced, it seems to be struggling to be optimal as it was, because now a fan will turn on (only up hills or after driving a bit). I drove it yesterday and had cold air the entire time, other days, just warm. So shop says it could be something small for a/c in the engine that needs adjustment/repair. All leather is in tact, no rips. All cupholders work. I am overall very happy with this car. The ONLY reason I am listing it for sale is, I will attend college over 150 miles back and forth a day) in next two months with a huge commute and so I will get an economy car in replacement to this one. * Two days ago, a back light symbol came on - so it needs a bulb in rear. Fix the bulb, maybe a detail/wash, and figure out the a/c sudden reduction in cold after new frion flush and all new radiator hoses, and it's good! I want to sell to someone who can pick up LOCAL, Yucaipa CA 92399 (near Palm Springs, CA)/Southern California -and-purchase as-is.I do have a very (small) lien balance to a bank for an equity loan, so I will pay that loan off via Cashiers Check to that company in IL, and provide FULL clean title at the earliest it becomes available to me from that company. I can even ask them to FED EX you the release of title when I pay them off. I can pay them off once you've paid me, I assume it can all happen over course of few days.
