Up for sale is a 2004 VW R32 with 88k original miles and a clean title. When I purchased the car a couple years ago it was non-running and remained that way for a while as the immobilizer was not working properly. After multiple attempts of trying to get the car running with the immobilizer enabled, I ultimately ended up getting a reflashed ecu with the immobilizer function disabled. Shortly after that the fuel pump went bad (most likely from sitting and seeing little use). I replaced the faulty fuel pump, but the car still refused to run. At this point my frustration with the car grew and I parked the car and focused my attention elsewhere. I have come to the realization that it is in my best interest to pass the vehicle along to someone else who has more time to focus on restoring this vehicle back to its previous condition. Please look at the photos of the car to examine its current condition. On the exterior, the previous owner swapped the R32 front end to a Jetta front end. Additionally the R32 side skirts are missing and the wheels have been swap out for 2 piece BBS wheels. On the interior, the original seats were swapped out for cloth 337 GTI seats and the passenger seat has the bolster torn. This car is being sold as a non-runner. This would be a great project for someone looking to get a clean title, low mileage R32 at a fraction of the $15,000 price it would bring if it were in good running condition.
