Maico 500cc 2-Stroke Please read the entire description before bidding. These bikes are extremely rare to find in the US. I have personally never seen another one for sale. I have only seen one other one in person and that was at an exotic motorcycle show. I do not know the exact year of the bike, from the research I have done, I think it is a 2001-2005, but have not been able to find a modern Maico VIN database to be sure.I just had the bike serviced by a mechanic. A few of the things done: New hydraulic master cylinder and cable, new automatic compression release, Carb cleaned, gas tank flushed, front brake bleed, etc.Bike fires up and runs well. Has a lot of compression. Bike had been sitting for a little over a year, according to the previous owner. I bought it with hopes of riding it, but decided to buy something a little smaller engine discplacement for more practical use. Bike still needs an air filter, and the rear master cylinder rebuilt. I purchased this bike on a Bill-Of-Sale, and that is how I am selling it, No-title. Bike is not recommended for beginners! Comes stock with Marzocchi Forks, HG5 pipe in excellent shape.
