1971 Triumph T-150 4 speed This is an immaculately restored T-150 with beautiful paint work/chrome/and professionally rebuilt engine/transmission. No expense was spared on this beautiful machine. Please see below for details and do not hesitate to ask any questions you may have. Bike was last registered in 1985, and hadn't run since then. It was purchase by me 6 years ago from its second owner in Oatman, Az. Restoration began the day it was purchased. This bike is a beautiful 100% nut and bolt restoration with no detail overlooked. BODYWORKBike was completely dismantled and all frame bits and tinware were media blasted and then painted with epoxy primer. Fenders, tank, and side covers were sent to Two Brothers Motorcycle Painting in Oklahoma City for repainting in the original paint scheme. Frame, swingarm, and all other bits were painted in gloss single stage black paint.All chrome bits were chrome plated including the original rims and original exhaust manifold. New down tubes and mufflers were installed. RIMS/TIRES/BRAKESThe rims were sent off to Buchanans and were laced with stainless spokes. Brakes shoes were relined. New wheel bearings were installed.New Dunlop TT100 tires were mounted. Euro-style handle bars were installed. ENGINE/TRANSMISSIONEngine and transmission was completely dismantled and rebuilt by John French in SunLand, Ca. Crank was turned and new pistons/rings, valves/springs, main and rod bearings, seals/ gaskets were installed. Three new Amal carbs were installed. Gearbox was dismantled and found to be within spec and all bushings, bearings, and seals were replaced. New Norman Hyde Clutch assembly was installed. ELECTRICSNew headlight shell and wiring harness was installed. A British Wiring harness was installed. Original handlebar switches were cleaned and reused. Boyer ignition system and Tympanum regulator were fitted. DETAILSBike runs and rides like a new 1971 Triumph T-150. Engine is still running in with on break in oil.
