Vehicle Description HALF TON PICKUP  WITH HEAVY WEIGHT CREDENTIALS This complete frame off restoration has only 6000 nice weather road miles. It is everything you could ever want in a show truck, and still feel comfortable driving down the highway at any speed. The PPG BMW Imola Red paint was the right choice to show off this truck, and to bring home the hardware. It has Brothers one piece door glass, tinted windshield and big back window. The Bruce Horkey grain matched ash bed with stainless strips and bolts hides the 17 gallon aluminum gas tank. The power plant is 1993 Corvette with MPFI aluminum heads, serpentine pully system, and it looks like an advertisement for Street and Performance. In order to do a custom engine right it is always best to go to the top parts manufacturers in the country. In this case, there is not enough room to list every part that came from Street and Performance, but if you want the best of the best there are certain places that are known for their products and workmanship. The lines are custom stainless braided for the power steering. The radiator is aluminum as is the shroud and over flow tank. The headers are ceramic coated Hooker Competition, and they flow into Flow Master mufflers with aluminized pipes. Lokar supplied the throttle and kick down linkage. The chassis consists of a Camaro sub frame, 4 wheel disc brakes, and all new components. The trans is a 700 R4 that is column shifted from a GM tilt column with a LeCarra wheel. The package is completed with VDO gauges, Alpine sound system, heat and air-conditioning, and the smell of high grade leather upholstery. A full size Six Foot plus man can fit very comfortably in the truck.
