Vehicle Detail
1976 Mustang II Stallion Hatchback V6 Arizona car w/ Az patina Not a Cobra II but possibly more rare / excellent color combo Would be neat to get a Marti Report on it IF You have less then 10 feedbacks, we will email you to make sure its legit we email you to check your sincerity on buying the car and dont get a reply within 24 hours.. You will be cancelled and blocked too from bidding. We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics. Id prefer NO PAYPAL to be honest. Email me first before you bid if thats your only option. We bank with BofA which is easy for most buyers. Your not bidding on a car so you can come inspect it, thats Its not how it works. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: TOTAL SURVIVOR Stallions are prob more rare the the Cobra II Rust free Az car. Its not been modded its whole life and shows 85k miles on it. Not sure if its original, but owner says it is. Its also been in Az most of its life. Glass is all good and its very complete for its age. Still needs alot of resto. Id drive it just like that and leave the patina :) It was parked for about 20 yrs in a carport. I believe the paint to be original. We drained what little gas was left in the tank, put in fresh gas and after about 5 trys, it fired up. Really should prob drop the tank and flush it out along with the fuel lines right away. More below: Check out the pics and more info below...thanks DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules. So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid. Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!! These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition that are still affordable to most buyers. DRIVETRAIN: the factory V6 cranks fine with the key and starts up with some pumping of the gas. Sometimes I do have to pour a little gas down the carb to get it to start when its cold. Im going to replace the accelerator pump and inline fuel filter on the carb on Tues. and see if it helps. This 2v V6 is actually a decent engine Ford used overseas for many yrs. Even with fresh gas in the tank, its smells old when running. It has what sounds like a noisy rocker are under one of the valve covers and it idles in various spots where ever it feels like. The noise comes and goes. So It will need carb work and who knows what else to make it a daily driver. But no rod knocks or smoke coming out of the exhaust. Trans feels good, I drove it around the block a few times. 2 Tires are old too. 2 are brand new ! Brakes seem to work but prob need to be bled some for a more confident drive. Keep in mind its sat for about 10 yrs or more.We got it running and movable, but its not a daily driver just yet. New cap & rotor and 3 new spark plugs on the driver side.INTERIOR: take a look, Az has done a great job drying out all the interior etc. The rubber and plastics are pretty baked. Although it is pretty complete. Very worn and dry. Factory radio in dash, no sound (possibly just a bad speaker) Rear seat folds down fine....Carpet is toast ! Gauges in the cluster look good. Tach and speedo to do work Not sure about rest of the gauges.EXTERIOR: the body amazingly straight for its age, the car has No bondo under what is left of the original paint and primer. Stallion signature 2 tone paint job. Also If I recall this is a very very early built 76 car, so one of the first Stallions prob to leave Dearborn Doors all open and close fine, and glass all looks good and original. Hatch shocks are no good. Rockers and lower rear quarters and front fenders are good. 1 dent at the bottom of the RF lower fender, sorta got pushed in and pulled back out some. SUSPENSION: the suspension looks normal and very original for its age. Its not restored, but probably be okay with a little resto on the bushings etc. Again, 2 tires are brand new. Has the well known Mustang 2 front end which has been proven to be a good design for its day and still today. Driving it around the block it felt pretty tight for its age. Check out ALL the pics below ----->it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll bar on the right side. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate. more info AFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics. Probably The BEST represented Mustangs on Ebay. Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you appreciate them. We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars and it shows. People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end. Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days speaks volumes. Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers. Email us with ANY questions before you bid please Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as much feasibly possible via pics. Dont let auctions with little to no pics try to fool you. If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance. With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER with great pics to help making your decision easier. Along with ANY other questions you may have. Email me for a quote for shipping. AZ TITLE IN HAND Keep in mind, this is not a restored car !! CAR MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 14 days of auctions END ! we can no longer store cars for anyone !! Unless other arrangements have been made before auction ends. Can help with shipping outside the USA too if you need help. But keep in mind, the car cant ship until you get your title from us in hand. This car, you can see clearly what to expect with no surprises and our Feedback speaks for itself ! EMAIL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE !! Will drive onto a hauler for transport with a little finesse. IF you need a shipping quote, just email us with your city/state and Ill find out our best quote for you !! No problem helping it to the docks if you are shipping overseas . If you have to wait for the title to ship your car, it still needs to be paid for and shipped from our holding lot as mentioned in the ad. When we get the title for it, we will fedex it to you. If YOU WIN please email me when the auction ends and say Hi and we can take it from there. Here is our email address: no excuses Motorsport_svx@yahoo.com Bank Wires need to be prompt if you are out of the country because they always seem to take longer then expected. I bank with B of A which makes things easy for many out of state for payment. direct deposit or Cashier checks If you wire the funds we must add a $50 fee that our bank charges us. must clear before car can move. Its a sign of the times, sorry. IF RESERVES NOT MET, email us anyway maybe we can work out a deal after it ends. NO PAYPAL for $500 deposit only - rest direct bank deposit or wire These are our rules, if you DONT LIKE THEM, maybe not bid OR contact us before you bid and win . Must be paid within 4 days of auctions end. On Jan-25-18 at 22:38:04 PST, seller added the following information: Ive noticed today its getting harder to start the car just by pumping the gas pedal. I can squirt gas down the carb and it fires right up and after messing with the gas pedal It will idle on its own still and run decent, usually at about 2k rpms..but still good enough I think tobe able to drive it onto a car hauler. If it sells, I can help arrange shipping at a fair price still. Most times if it doesnt run and drive well, the shipper will add $100 to the shipping cost. Ill help with this if it comes down to it so the winner doesnt have to pay extra $ for the shipping. Check out our feedback please !! We go way out of our way to help our buyers After the car sells and gets paid for.
