Ultra rare and sought after 2002 Jaguar XJR -100 4.0 V8 SUPERCHARGED car. It is finished in gorgeous Anthracite Black with a Charcoal Black Leather interior. These cars command a premium over the 'standard' XJR, and undoubtedly are starting to increase in value now and deservedly so. Just look at it! Jaguar marked the centenary of the company's creator, Sir William Lyons, with limited editions of its XJR performance sedan. Named the XJR-100, it combines the sporting and the luxurious in the tradition that Sir William established as Jaguar's hallmark. Just 500 examples of the XJR-100 were sold worldwide, of which only 240 where shipped to the United States (only 140 actual registered). All the XJR-100 cars have sleek black metallic "Anthracite Black Mica" paintwork, leather interiors and luxury specifications. In addition, their performance credentials are highlighted with a series of brand new additions to Jaguar's growing range of R Performance Options, which are initially exclusive to the limited edition cars. The XJR 100 is fitted with Jaguar's 370 bhp supercharged and intercooled 4.0-litre AJ-V8 engine, which is matched to a five-speed automatic transmission. Confidence-inspiring road holding and high-speed stability are delivered by the microprocessor-controlled adaptive damping of Jaguar's sports-oriented Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS). Like the standard XJR, the XJR-100 limited edition is equipped with cruise control, stability control, traction control, and front and side airbags. Zero to 60 arrives in 5 seconds and stomps effortlessly on to a speed limited 155mph. All done with a style and grace that only THIS body style can exude.
