1973 Honda SL-70 K1

1973 Honda SL-70 K1. One owner Barn find. Mostly intact, but missing the left side cover, tool kit and manual. Main issue is the transmission. Can't find neutral or go through all the gears. Don't know if it is as simple as the shift shaft or what. I will tell you if you buy it and need a few trans parts, be sure to buy the parts that the part numbers end with "305" (example: xxxxx-xxx-305). Honda did warranty transmission repairs on the first year KO's and all the parts ended in 305 - upgraded better trans parts. They actually had a full trans kit and the last three numbers of the kit part number was "305". So when you look for individual trans parts, you will see many ending in 305. All and many available. Medium rust in tank (I've fixed a lot worse) an will need tires, tubes, etc.. Dent in the left side of the rear fender. Great for resto. I have way too many projects and not the kind of time I need right now to restore this one.
