1955 Mercury Monterey Station Wagon "Woody" in excellent condition.V-8 292 CID Engine. 3-Speed "Merc-O-Matic" Automatic Transmission. 188 HP. Rare 3rd Row option. Interior is turquoise, black and white. With the original back seat (making the rare three-seat model), which was often discarded to make room for more cargo. Genuine signatures on the dashboard by Dick Clark, Chubby Checker, Jan and Dean, Christopher Knight (Peter Brady) and several members of The Beach Boys. Car is completely restored to original condition. This car sold at auction in 2006 for $115,000. The owners manual is still in the glove box, along with the original 1955 Mercury sales brochure and original radio manual.This car offers rare optional power equipment, including factory power seating, brakes and seats. The factory installed radio was refurbished to excellent working order.This car was featured in David Fetherston's Treasure Box of Classic Woody's.
