Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements, but the listing is open to everyone. On Dec-07-17 at 20:08:26 PST, seller added the following information: If you've every wanted a ThunderBolt, you wont find one this much work done or build one this far along for what the reserve is set at. reserve is under 10,000On Dec-09-17 at 20:02:37 PST, seller added the following information: -Listing is very close to the reserve price. Truth told I've got more money into this car than i'd ever get out of it, anyone who's ever built a hotrod knows what i'm talking about. No doubt close to 10,000 is a lot of money, but as I said before one cant be built to this point for what the reserve is set at. Just a quick break down. If you bought a 64 fairlane depending on the condition, probably looking at anywhere from 2,000-6,000. lets call it 4,000 for a working number. replacing the front end with the fiberglass panels and doing any other body and paint work is roughly 6,000 on up. If its not a four speed car its another 2,300 for a brand new one from David Kee toploaders, if he has one as 64 and 65 are different. this isn't counting the new clutch, flywheel, throwout bearing, z-bar etc. Cutting out the shock towers for the big block, which requires the removal of the engine, trans, and front suspension parts and labor close to 5,000. Subframe connectors 500. mini tubs and rear fire wall another 2,500. That comes to 20,300 and that's not counting all the small parts, hurst shifter, radio, heater, light delete plates, vehicle disclaimer for the glove box. As I right this the highest bid is 7,700. the reserve is set at 9,500. 1,800 dollars away from someone getting this deal. good luck, I hope it finds a good home.
