NO RESERVE 5 DAY AUCTION! 1965 FORD MUSTANG COUPE Wow! What a great little coupe! It is a driver quality car. Take to your local shows, nice little car to cruise or make into whatever you want. Was put back together to look basically stock. Leave it that way or add all the goodies you want. One can really deck out a Mustang! Paint is nice driver quality has a few chips, tiny dings, minor scratches. Body is pretty straight. Has had it's quarters replaced, outer wheelhouses, floor pans (Driver's side was replaced many years ago), seat platforms, front and rear valance panels, trunk pan sides, rear frame rails behind the rear wheels and shackles all replaced. I have been replacing a lot of chrome trim little by little.. I have replaced the bumpers, side mirror, radio antenna, door handles, door locks, grille bars and grille pony, hood molding, all emblems, turn signal housings, tail light housings and gas cap. New fuel tank and sending unit. Brand new tires. New interior installed late October. Interior includes..New seat upholstery, headliner (white.. like original), package tray, kick panels, dash pad, dash bezel, glove box liner, carpet, seat belts, door panels, and arm rest pads. Smells like a new car inside. Gave the engine a tune up and had the Holley 1940 carb rebuilt. Replaced rear shocks. Replaced all of the brakes ..I mean all of the brakes ..after 53 model years they were due. New brake drums, shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, brake hoses, steel lines, master cylinder. Also replaced the gas tank and fuel sending unit. Brand new idler arm and tie rod ends! Engine 200 6 cyl w/ automatic. It was originally a 3 speed manual (clutch pedal is still installed but concealed) Not sure if this engine is original to the car. Car was originally teal blue.
