Weekend Destination Family HaulerNO RESERVE AUCTIONAuction ENDS Monday Dec 04 at 7:15 PM PSTInterested in a buy it now option? Please call to discuss You are looking at and have the opportunity to bid and/or buy one of the nicest ONE FAMILY OWNED Suburbans I have seen in this year range. It has probably the straightest body and cleanest interior I have ever seen in one of these. This Suburban 4x4 was bought brand new in central Oregon by an elderly gentleman who took great care of it and really didn't drive it very often. This was passed on to his daughter and son in law about 10 or 12 years ago. It was a third vehicle for them, so it was used rather sparingly, pretty much when cargo space and extra seating were needed. I had a vacation house in the area and ran across an opportunity to purchase the Suburban from them. I thought it would be great to have this beauty sitting in my garage and ready to use on the long weekends. It was used as a grocery getter and people hauler when I would stay in Central Oregon. Long story short, I have sold the vacation home and really do not have a need for this wonderful SUV right now. This was bought new in Oregon and spent its whole life here in Oregon. The great thing about our state, is that we have a very mild climate and do not salt our roads. Because our vehicles are not subjected to salt on the road, we don't have the rust issues on cars and this makes Oregon cars preferable to many other states. The body on this Suburban is extremely straight with great original paint. I have a pretty good eye for imperfections, and I have to tell you, this thing is REALLY NICE! There were some odd mudflaps that were removed off the back and there are 3 screw holes where it was attached, hardly noticeable but want to point it out. I found a couple of very minor nicks in the paint on the door (see pics) which have not been touched up. The paint is all original and has never been in an accident or had paint work of any kind. The only other thing I could find is a tiny ding on the rear bumper that doesn't show up in the pictures. (that small) Absolutely rust free, no rust anywhere! Overall, I would rate the paint and body as outstanding. The interior might be my favorite part of this SUV. Many SUVs fall victim to the hazards of active family life and have the scars to prove it. This one has been loved from day one and the interior really reflects the care this has received. The leather upholstery is in great shape and shows nearly as good as new. The only wear I can see is a minor, minor, scuff on the very edge of the driver's seat from getting in and out. All of the plastic trim pieces show no wear, no broken pieces anywhere. The carpet is very clean and free from any stains or strange odors. The seats are all properly formed, no sign of wear or breaking down. The headliner is perfect! Overall, the interior is as nice as you could expect to find, REALLY NICE! No disappointments here. How does it run and drive? ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! The 5.7 V8 starts quickly, idles very smooth, and has great power delivery. No funny sounds, leaks, smoking, or hesitation whatsoever. The transmission shifts smooth through all gears, and functions properly. The transfer case shifts through and operates in each position as it should. Brakes function as they should, stops straight - no pulls or rotor hop at all. Steering and suspension are tight and responsive, this is a very nice driving SUV. This LT package consists of lots of top shelf options. The great news is, everything works. Four wheel drive functions great. All of the power windows go up/down. The dual power seats function properly as well both heated seats. The air conditioning blows cold, and the heat gets toasty hot. The rear AC works great. All of the gauges, lights, courtesy lights, dome lights, accessories, CD player, cruise control and other features work as they should. I have tried to give you a thorough description of what a beautiful Suburban this is, and I am sure my words will not express how truly nice it is inside and out. Lots of people spend $70k plus on a new one, I think this does everything anyone could ask for a whole lot less. The winning bidder will own this Suburban and be a very proud new owner. Lots of pictures for you to study, I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. I may be able to help arrange shipping, I have contact information for a company that is reasonable and have had great luck with in the past. Thank you, Paul (541) 974-5346
