Vehicle Detail

Truck can be driven but it is gambling. I drove it three miles down the street and three miles back. Once it is in gear, it is smooth and not noisy, but stopping at lights and shifting back into gear is when the noise happens from the throwout bearing. Throwout bearing? is making whining sound. Clutch still grabs well, seems fine. Transmission smooth, seem fine. Motor runs okay, same as the last 12,000 miles I drove it. Transmission needs to be removed and clutch serviced. There is an oil leak I am guessing it is from the dipstick o-ring on the side of the oil pan. It has been that way the whole time I have had the truck two years, has not changed. I have not fixed it. Truck drives straight and no vibration, smooth ride on road or highway. Front alignment may not be perfect but it is fine for me. Front end is "good" no issue. minor repairs by me: 1 year ago - brake master cylinder, + bled brake system, fresh fluid. 5 months ago? - new Ford remanufactured alternator + 2 new batteries. Clean oil the whole time I've had it, Delo Oil at about 3,000 mile interval. Person who sold it to me told me that the transmission had been replaced with a new transmission. Manual transmission has 5 forward gears, also called a 4-speed with a low "granny" first gear. Heat / AC / defrost / wipers all work. AC not the coldest, but it works and blows cool. Electric windows and electric door locks work. Cruise control does not work. Radio is missing removable front control surface. I think the engine runs fine especially after warmed up. My brother thinks the engine runs fine / sounds good. He has restored a couple of cars, knows gasoline engines. Engine does not purr. I do not know how to make it purr. I know a guy with a similar truck and his engine seems quieter, but he takes it to a pro truck shop that works on International trucks. A buddy of mine said the growly running is the nature of the beast, but I think it could run more smoothly. Wouldn't hurt to rebuild the fuel bowl. ?? Here is a video of the truck running. https://youtu.be/6053udRS4zQ The motor is cold. Normally I would not rev it to RPM just after starting. Toward the end of the video I push down the clutch a little and you can hear the bearing sound. This truck needs a good home and a capable owner. I hope a new owner will enjoy this truck as much as I have. Terms: Sold AS-IS. Clear title. Needs to be paid for 3 days after close of auction. Clutch kit with new flywheel cost between $250. basic to $1100. for a heavy duty clutch, or just do the bearing? No way to know without removing transmission. Plus, renew clutch hydraulics? How far to go with it. Do a new engine rear main seal when the transmission is out? Prior to this bearing noise, there has been no slipping or shown wear with the clutch and once in gear, it seems firm now. I believe a new clutch was put in when the transmission was replaced, but I am guessing it is not the deluxe heavy duty clutch model.
