This item is being relisted do to a buyer who has not contacted me in regards of winning this. Letting go of my GTO due to no time, and have lost interest in working on it. Have owned this car since summer of 1985. If you are looking for a picture perfect 10 car, this is not it. This will need some work before driving. It has been in storage since 2004. Engine was rebuilt in 2005 with very little run time on it. It is a 400 4 barrel carb with a close ratio Muncie 4 spd. 3:55 posi rear end. Interior is in good shape. Front seat were redone in 1985. back seat might still be original. It has rally gauges. Outside paint is cracking and chipping off. Paint is well over 35 years old. Hood has scratches in it. Car will need the rest of the wiring hooked up to engine, however it does start and run. Right now it is straight exhaust, but will have glass packs bolted up to headers when car is picked up. Radiator was redone when engine was put in. After being in storage for all those years, the right front brake was locked up. Found a spring broken, and that will have to be repaired. Might want to do brakes all around, did not check condition of others. Car is pretty solid over all. Drivers door has a rust hole in it at the bottom back corner. Has been this way since I bought it. Right front fender has an original car alarm switch in it. Was never hooked up, but was to make it look like one. I did not install this, was on car from previous owner. Trunk is pretty solid along with floor pans. On passengers side of body in door jam there is a small hole from rust, tried to get a pic but would not come out good. Car has rally 1 rims. Car has manual steering and brakes. The other items that will go with car that are not pictured are a 66 389 Engine and automatic trans that came out of a Catalina I got from a friend. A 454 Chevy big block engine and automatic trans that came out of a truck. Engine is carbureted. Another hood that was on the car originally when I bought it that was cut out for velocity stacks when it had dual quads on it. Also a hood scoop that screws onto it. These will all go with the car, no exceptions. Car is located in Mt. Prospect, IL. 60056. If you care to look at it, you can do so by making arrangements.
