For sale is a single owner 1961 Ford Galaxie Starliner. My Dad bought this car when he was 19 years old and owned it for the rest of his life. Original invoice/bill of sale for $3350.30 from Mason Motor Company Tucumcari, NM pictured. The car came equipped with a 390 engine and a three-on-the-tree with overdrive transmission. The car has just a click under 106K miles, and was last registered and last driven in 1995. The car was in an accident back in 1962. My Dad hit a horse on a state road. A new top was welded on from a donor car and presumably the hood and front bumper were replaced as well. The work was all professionally done and this car was a daily driver throughout the 1960s, 70s, and 80s with no issues. It lived in the dry climate of northern New Mexico until the mid-1990s until my Dad retired to Florida. In Florida, he kept it in an air conditioned climate controlled garage to keep rust off. The car has remarkably little rust for its age. I've included pictures underneath, in the trunk and engine compartment, and the floor boards to show how little rust is on the car. I've done my best to describe the car as accuratley as possible. I will be happy to provide additional pictures on request and will show the car in person (by appointment) for the next 5 days until the auction ends. Car is sold in as-is condition. The car is located in Fort Myers, Florida. Buyer will be responsible for shipping. Payment must be received within 3 days of end of auction, wire transfer is the only method accepted. Update. I have found trim pieces below trunk lid, hood ornaments, and drivers side fender (see new pics)
