This car belonged to my (childhood home) next door neighbor's parents. I first saw the car back in the 1980's when I was in my teens. They bought the car used in 1964 and drove it up until the early 90's when it was parked in the barn. Please notice the before and after pics that I have included. The car was stored on blocks and jack stands and covered for years until I bought the car in early 2016. The following is what I have done to the car bringing it back to life and making it a fantastic weekend cruiser: repair vacuum hoses, fittings, routing, charge a/c, flush heater core, clean rust out of intake coolant fittingreplace fuel tank filler tubenew gas tankcompletely rebuilt transmissionnew air filternew front brake drum, new rear brake drumpower window switch plate assemblycomplete front end kit (including: left inner tie rod, front strut rod bushings, L and R upper and lower ball joints, L and R upper and lower control arms bushings, front sway bar bushings)tore down complete front end blasted and painted all parts rebuilt arms, reassemble front end and adjusted brakesnew COKER tiresnew shocksfull detail including paint correctionThe original interior is almost perfect and has it's original leather seat covers and carpet. The paint looks great from 10 feet but does have blemishes. However, it looks to nice to re-paint. They are only original once.... The bright-work it is very nice shape.
