For sale is a 2007 BMW X5 3.0si with Tobacco Nevada Leather interior and Black Sapphire Metallic exterior. This vehicle was purchased in 2014 from BMW of Traverse City with 58K miles on the odometer. It has served as our primary family vehicle until last year when we purchased a new Mazda CX-9. The 67K miles we have driven it have largely been highway miles on long family trips, and it has provided dependable and comfortable transportation for my family of 5. It comes with a BMW dealer-installed tow package, which has a class III tow hitch rated for 6,000 lbs. We have largely used it for installing a Thule rear utility container for extra storage, but I have used it on occasion for towing my 5X8 covered utility trailer without any problems. This vehicle also has 3rd row seating, which means that it comes with the upgraded air suspension and third row climate control. It also has the premium package, winter package, and optional running boards, as well as a USB adapter for your phone. Bluetooth works flawlessly with my Apple iPhone. Also included is a full set of factory BMW wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Blizzaks (used through 3 seasons, but still have some life in them). Currently on the car are a set of Dunlop Signature Sport A/S tires that are a year old and have roughly 10K miles on them. Major service items completed include: new coil packs, spark plugs, and valve cover gasket at ~ 90K miles. New a/c compressor and charge 85K miles. New water pump, thermostat, temperature sensor, radiator hoses, serpentine belt, and belt tensioners ~ 124K miles. I had also replaced the air springs around 100K miles and the fan blower motor and resistor. When I bought the vehicle, I bought a full set of the exact same factory wheels (BMW Style 210 for the E70 X5). I also bought a new set of Beru TPMS sensors, so you can swap the wheels and tires with ease for the winter season. Under the iDrive system, you simply select "Reset TPMS Sensors" (of course, making sure that they are first at the correct pressures) and then drive a short distance for them to sync. First, let me apologize that my photos do not better show the condition of the seats. The seats are in very good condition with no rips, tears, or scratches on the leather. The side bolsters do not show any wear either. With this being said, let me emphasize that the overall condition is good for its age and mileage. Keep in mind that this was primarily my family hauler for the past three years. Kids are rough on cars, so there may be some stray Cheerios under the seats that I have missed. The exterior, as can be seen in the photos, is in good shape, but not perfect. There are a couple of door dings and stone chips on the paint, but nothing unusual. The lenses on the front lights have the normal crazing and haze for their age, but there is no problem and it does have Xenon lights. The rear tailgate lights were replaced about a year ago, as the LEDs had eventually failed. Also, I had replaced the tail light assemblies as they were no longer air-tight, and on wet days would allow condensation to build. I was replacing bulbs on a regular basis, so I just went ahead and changed the entire assembly and have not had any issues since. Yes, it is a wonderful time of the year in the Keweenaw Peninsula, especially to see the fall color change. If you are flying in, I would highly recommend staying for a couple of days and driving up to Copper Harbor at the tip of the peninsula. There are world-class hiking and mountain biking opportunities there. It's a little cold for kayaking, unless you have the proper gear. Again, I will be happy to pick you up at Hancock Airport (CMX). There are two flights daily from Chicago, O'Hare. I would recommend staying in Houghton, at least for the first night, before venturing out. To the East are Pictured Rocks and to the West the Porcupine Mountains and Lake of the Clouds. No matter which direction you go, you will enjoy the scenery this time of year in the U.P.!
