Vehicle Detail
The interior is in good shape. Driver seat is a little worn, but not that badly. Carpet needs shampoo'd but other than that it looks good on the inside. The body has rust at rear wheel wells, and damage from people running in to her at the back left side, as well as it's losing the clear coat in several places. Will need new tires soon. I loved this car when I got it, so much so that I helped someone rebuild it's engine at 90k miles. I also replaced the clutch then, as well. Extremely fun car to drive!! It's still very tight with low handling.. I have owned an 82 mecury Capri with a v8 engine, and a 1991 Mustang GT 5 speed, and despite this car just being a four cylinder front wheel drive, I have actually enjoyed driving this more. It's definitely a "drivers car". It still has power and can be test driven, despite the engine issue. You might be able to get it working for a while with just a flush and change of the coolant system, but currently there's air in there that's causing the car to overheat. You can't drive more than 3 miles without it red lining, so be prepared to have it towed if you are going to be coming from far to get it. It will most likely need a new engine, or someone that's willing to rebuild the head portion for the second time. 1zzfe is the engine type. You can find them all over ebay. Cruise control works A/C blows cold Shifting is still tight Power windows work fine All power locks work. Intermittent wipers and rear wiper with rear defrost Electronic Moon roof works, but the plastic is a bit faded because of the sunlight.
