This is a totally restored 81 rabbit pick up original Nevada car with no rust, I bought this truck a couple of weeks ago from a guy in Barstow, CA who rebuilds these trucks. I drove the truck 750 miles to NM with no problems. Drives great and got 45 MPG. Will hold 75 on the highway. I bought the truck for my wife but now she will not drive it because it is a stick shift. Now I have to get her something else. My loss is your gain. This is a great little truck and I have almost 11 grand into it. I'm not going to bore you with all the tons of parts replaced but let the pics talk. The truck has a completely rebuilt motor that was done in a machine shop and had first over sized piston and rings installed, rebuilt rods, all new german bearing and seals, totally rebuilt german head and instead of the head bolts had racing studs installed, rebuilt tranny , rebuilt injector pump, rebuilt injectors all new fuel lines and new coolant hoses, the old interior was trashed so the complete interior was redone. DYNAMAT noise reduction was installed all over in the cab and under the hood so its pretty quiet, new tires installed from Big O and had the front wheels aligned , New Bosch Battery, the whole front suspension was re done using Febi Bilstein bushings, KYB gas Shocks, Febi Bilstein upper strut bearing, rebuilt rack/pinion, new brakes, wheel bearings and the list goes on and on, all the lights, gauges work as they should including the clock. The truck drives and shifts through all gears smoothly and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.The body was sanded down and painted it in the original factory code LE5B (LAGO BLU) This was a body off repaint.
