This exceptional example of the World's Coolest Car has had a complete bumper to bumper inspection and refurbishment at Napleton Chrysler in Clermont, Florida. All work was done by a Factory Trained and Authorized Prowler Mechanic. As the list in the Condition Description portion of this listing states, in 2016 I took my Prowler to the Chrysler dealership and had the authorized Prowler Mechanic completely inspect the car and then bring everything up to factory specifications. The air conditioning unit (that is the authorized factory replacement) is MUCH better than the original AC, and the car can actually be made cold in stop and go traffic on an 100 degree (or more) day. The only two items that I replaced that were not restored by the dealer are the radio, which is a $3,500 sound system that includes a backup camera (very useful) and full blue tooth compatibility for both phones and mp3 (or Apple) blue tooth devices (including iPhones and iPods), and the complete repainting of the car by an independent Master Painter who added metal flake to the original yellow paint. This car is a real show stopper, and the nicest one that I've seen advertised. The new convertible top is manual, but amazingly simple and easy to put up and fold back. It has lived full time in a garage since the repainting. The car is one of the best handling cars in the world and has good power. The automatic transmission can be easily shifted to a manual clutch-less shifting system. The non run flat tires offer a more comfortable ride. This a wonderful dream car that's in top shape.
