Vehicle Detail
1973 Honda CL175 in wonderfully good condition. If you are looking for a nice patina this is not your bike. This bike has no rust, almost no patina, chrome and wheels are in very good/excellent condition. Paint looks excellent as does the whole bike, This is one bike that looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. Bike runs perfect! There is no work needed on this bike. It runs like the day it came off the floor. Starts perfect, shifts perfect (very light and easy to pull clutch), runs through the gears perfectly, idles and runs perfectly. This is one very nice bike that runs, well all I can say is perfectly! One small dent on tank you can see in pictures and 1 small tear on side of the seat, again see the pictures. Exhaust has no rust, no holes, no pits and chrome looks nearly perfect, rare for a Scrambler. Chain, suspension are in excellent shape. All original except for the tires which are in excellent shape and ready to ride on. All the lights work! Including the beep that accompanies the blinkers when they blink. I find the beep to be whimsical but I love hearing it on this 40 year plus motorcycle. If you look up this year bike on the internet you will find it is a 1972 but, the title lists it as a 1973. Back in those days the year of the bike on the title was the year it was sold and titled. You will not be disappointed in this bike. It is beautiful and runs beautifully. Please feel free to ask any questions you wish. On Aug-25-17 at 19:07:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Added information: Inside of gas tank is spotless also, no rust, not even minimal. Very very few bikes gas tanks of this age look like this. Most also have minor pit holes and are thin and have rust and start to leak. Many have been coated, don't like that. This one is solid and thick all over. Was very well taken care of and looks only silver on the inside. These older gas tanks are expensive to repair. If taken care of this tank will last another 40 years. No filter needed from gas tank to carbs on this bike.On Aug-26-17 at 10:56:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Call 231-313-8084 with any questions also.
