Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1975 CB750K5 that has undergone an extensive resurrection. It has been brought back to original condition with many new parts and fresh 2 stage paint. New Parts: Front and Rear rims and spokes, front and rear wheel bearings, front brake pads, rear brake shoes, fork seals, fork gators, front turn signals, headlight shell, headlight rim assembly, handlebars, mirrors, grips, MotionPro throttle and clutch cables, tapered steering bearings, chrome trim on gas tank, air filter, fuel petcock, fuel lines, carb mount rubber manifolds, sprocket, oring chain, AGM battery, and seat assembly. Rebuilt: Front brake caliper, handlebars switches, and master cylinder. They were also powder coated. Carbs were rebuilt. The top end of the engine was removed and freshened up with new valve guide seals, new orings and seals, cam chain guide and tensioner and new gaskets. The frame was media blasted, etch primed and pained with a single stage urethane finish. The left side cover had a small crack that was repaired and the tank and both side covers were repainted with a basecoat, clearcoat finish. The tank decals and black parts of the tank were in good shape, but the right side of the tank decal had one small area missing the gold. I repaired it and everything got cleared. The fork crown, handlebar mounts, battery box, tool tray, foo tpegs, and kickstand were powder coated. I have replaced many of the mounting bolts with polished stainless steel. The original speedometer was damaged and was replaced by a used original unit with 19,679 miles on it. I don't know the original miles, but this bike starts and runs great, It does not smoke, even on start up. When the engine was apart there was no indication of mistreatment. The tensioner was replaced because it was rock hard. All of the original parts were used where possible. As a result there are signs of rust on the inside of the headlight stays. It has been cleaned up and the part is still serviceable and shows well. The same can be said of the original exhaust. There are no baffles and it sounds like an inline four should! The front and rear fenders are original, as well as the mounts and tailite bracket. The bike was built as a very nice rider that anyone would be proud to take to any cruise in, and it's pretty easy to just stare at every time you enter your garage. The winning bidder is responsible for any shipping. I can assist in normal loading. A $400 deposit by Paypal is due 48 hours after the auction ends with the balance due within 7 days by cash or cashiers check in person. The bike will not be released until funds clear. I sell to the US only. There is no warranty included or implied. The bike is sold as is, where is. I hold a valid clear North Carolina title in my name for the bike. I have tried to present an honest picture of this bike, including pictures at the end of the construction process, but if you have any questions please contact me through ebay and I will reply as soon as possible. After all, if you have read to this point you must be interested. Slightly long winded!
