Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a very nice supercharged 2003 Mercury Marauder. The car is a 2 owner vehicle and has a clean Carfax. I bought the car a little over 3 years ago from the original owner in New Jersey. When I purchased the car it had roughly 75,000 miles on it and was completely stock with the exception of the radio. About a year after buying the car I had the most qualified and experienced mechanic in the area install an SVT roots-type blower on the car and eventually brought the car to Performance Dyno in Loudon, NH where it was tuned and dynoed. The car produced 423 rwhp at that time. If you know anything about installing a blower on this engine then you know it takes a crazy amount of man hours and a ton of money. You can not just buy a bolt-on kit, it is all custom with multiple fabricated parts needed. During the installation process we decided to install dual batteries which were re-located to the trunk as you can see in one of the pictures. The car has the stock exhaust tips along with a custom exhaust and Kooks Long Tube Headers. It also has a new set of Cooper Zeon RS3-A tires with less than 500 miles on them. I also have all of the stock parts to go with the car. The car also has an aftermarket radio and amp in it that was there when I purchased the car. Everything on the car works as it should. The car has been impeccably maintained and runs and drives great and is in very nice condition. The outside does have a few small road chips but in my opinion the paint is very nice. The interior is even nicer with no tears. Some of the pictures appear to show imperfections but they are just reflections due to the high gloss of the paint. However, I did add two pictures which show imperfections in two areas. The first is a spot on the passenger side rear quarter that shows an imperfection in the paint. The other is in the front fiberglass panel above the headlight that is showing some stress cracks. That damage was caused when the car was being driven past a local golf course and was hit in that area by an errant golf ball. As you can see I have only driven the car approximately 7K miles in three years. I have several other vehicles and unfortunately the Marauder mostly sits in the garage with the occasional drive so I have decided to sell it. I am not a kid and this car has not been hot-rodded. If you are serious about the car we can talk about a buy it now price but it must be a reasonable offer. Please keep in mind I do not need to sell this car. If you need more pictures or have any questions, please ask. I would also encourage anyone to come and see the car in person.
