For sale is a very clean, low mileage , 2 owner xl600r. Bike is one of the nicest examples I have seen. Everything works as it should, the flash red paint is in excellent condition. Brakes, clutch, lights, all work great.Runs excellent starts first or second kick if you know how to start one of these big bores. Bike obviously didnt get used much, I went over the bike and have done the following:Valves set, carbs fully disassembled and cleaned, replaced original air filter with uni, new Japanese chain and sprockets 14-48 as I feel these bikes were geared too high. New klotz 15-50 synthetic oil and filter, screen in frame was also cleaned. Has original tool kit, and manual.Tires are original and are weather cracking around lugs. With all the different preferences on tires I did not change, they have been working fine for me. I don't believe this bike has ever been off pavement. Being a 32 year old bike it has some scratches nicks or dings here or there. Bike is sold with current Maine registration as maine doesn't require titles for this vintage. I have sold bikes to other states in past and can get a form from the state if required. Bike is listed locally and I reserve the right to end auction early. Please ask any questions.
