This is the only certain single year body for the Corvette. 1973 was the last year for a back chrome bumper and the first year for the "rubber nose" . This car is of driver quality at best but has lots of potential. The original rubber nose is long gone but the black fiber-glass replacement shown is what is being utilized in most restorations today. The parts are with the car. The blinkers and bezels are with the car as well. Also, the correct tail pipe and valance inserts go with the car. The Corvette runs and drives. Brakes work. There is likely a left axle bearing in the car's not-to-distant future, slight sound is the indicator. AC is all there but isn't set up to function at present. Starts every time. Would drive across town but would need to be trailered any further just to be precautionary. The battery holds its charge so no known shorts. Head lights and blinkers function electronically but the vacuum only consistently opens one headlight. The engine is of 1980s vintage and runs well. New aluminum radiator is installed. Horn works and some of the gauges. The tachometer is not functioning. If you are looking for a $25,000 car for this money then please look further. If you want an affordable car that is decent as it sits and could be the car that dreams are made of then this is your chance. Reserve is low.
