Vehicle Detail

LT4 Manual 6-speed. 330 RWHP, super flat torque curve (see photo of Dyno Chart). Vortex Ram Air adds more power when over 70MPH. I bought this in December 2000, garaged and well maintained. No accidents. BFGoodrich Comp-2 tires with less than 1000 miles. I moved to Atlanta GA from Fort Lauderdale FL 17 years ago ... I routinely drove the 'Vette this 1300 mile round trip over the years and so really added up the miles. The suspension and steering are in good condition. The car handles tight with no slop. Most of the suspension components have been replaced at least once. The steering "rag joint" lasts about 75k miles, I've rebuilt it 4 times. The ZF transmission on the C4 from 1989-1996 is really tough ... I replaced the trans oil every 30k-50k miles. The clutch throwout bearing can be heard when the clutch pedal is depressed past full disengagement ... I've replaced the clutch twice, oem lasts about 100k miles ... if I were to keep the car I'd plan to replace the clutch and throwout bearing by 300k miles. These "old school" iron block LT motors are super rugged ... GM calls for Synthetic motor oil and since about 150k miles I've used RedLine which is an even better (and more expensive) Synthetic oil than the Mobil-1 factory fill oil.My wife has been wanting me to sell the car for years and she finally wore me down ... she feels I ought to be driving a newer one 'cause of our neighborhood ... she hates the exhaust sound in the neighborhood and the aroma of exhaust in the garage with the Hot Cam doesn't help. Many upgrades ...Beautiful exhaust sound with loping idle and screaming top end with Doug's shorty headers, muffler delete X-pipe and gutted Random Technology stainless steel cat-cons on 2-3/4" LT4 exhaust. Over $4k in motor, exhaust, brakes and suspension as listed under options and safety features.Over $2k in 1000 watt 7-speaker stereo system; Pioneer DEH-P7900BT AM/FM/CD head unit, 6-CD changer, HD-FM receiver, Sirius-XM receiver, dual Alpine amps, 4.0F power capacitor, 6 Infinity kappa speakers and Kicker Solo-Baric L7 sub-woofer.$1k in OEM GM collector's edition wheels; 17" x 9".Lowered front and rear. Addco sway bars matched to Bilstein Z51 shocks. Poly-bushing on front upper A-Arms and differential carrier.Sound and heat insulation under carpet in rear hatch and driver-side tunnel, no droning cruise, no toasted right-leg in traffic.I was slowly building this up to be a street'able track-day car. Please e-mail with any questions! Also, this is my 3rd time re-listing ... the previous bid winners couldn't pull together the money to close the deal ... please, please, be sure you have or can get the money before you bid.
