Vehicle Detail
Selling my cardinal red '05 Triumph Rocket III. $5,600 OBO. Letting it go for a good price with extras included.Video: vimeo.com/227657659I love this bike. The Rocket is... a rocket... on two wheels. I bought it with 7k miles on it 8 years ago, and it has never let me down. Never been laid down, or in an accident, CLEAN tittle. It hurts to sell, but my girlfriend is pregnant with our first baby, and she won't let me strap a car-seat to the back fender. Whatever.Mechanically, it runs beautifully. 2300 cc's of pure power and fun. It's always been serviced on time by Triumph certified techs, and has always been garage-kept. I recently paid $1.1k for a 30k mile service, new fork seals, brake pads, Metzeler rear tire, and a usb port for my phone. Also, purchased and installed a single aftermarket pipe made by D&D Racing. This pipe bypasses the cat-box, which I removed. More horsepower, less weight, better sound (video doesn't do it justice, deeper growl in person). Had this all done in May... before the baby news.Cosmetically, it's in good shape. There is a small dent in the right side of the tank. I purchased a new tank thinking I would repaint the entire bike to matte black. That was going to be my next step. I'll include the new tank in the sale if buyer wants it. Great value. These are hard to find for a good price. It has other little nicks here and there, not nothing out of the ordinary.I'll also include the saddle bags, sissy bar & passenger seat pad. Willing to include 2 Shoei helmets, and one Nolan helmet as well.
