Vehicle Detail
Offered here at NO Reserve is a custom built hardtail Honda titled as a 1980 model. The original engine was broken, so I replaced it with a 1975 Honda CB750 SOHC engine. This engine has been overhauled with new rings and had the valves lapped. All 4 carbs were freshened and have ‘cone’ air cleaners. The 5-speed manual clutch was checked for wear or burned plates. The starter was freshened. The chain was new. The exhaust uses the stock Honda headpipes with 2-into-1 dual exhausts feeding chrome shorty mufflers. The rear wheel is from a 2005 Harley Sportster with a new tire. The front wheel is Honda and also has a new tire. The rear brake caliper is a chrome Harley unit on the drive sprocket. The front brake is Honda with new linings. The front suspension was overhauled. Both master cylinders are new and chrome. Both fenders are old stock chrome and have a few marks. The headlight is chrome, as are the 4 LED park/turn signals. The brake light is dual strips of LEDs. All the wiring is new and fused inside the electrical box. There is a master disconnect for the battery. The windshield is Lexan. The solo seat is from a Sportster and is height adjustable. There is a lockbox for your papers, a helmet lock on the frame, a rear fender plate for a state inspection tag, and a leather saddlebag on the right side. This ‘cycle is painted maroon and white, which happen to be the colors of the Texas A&M Aggies. It has a few aTm stickers on some parts, which can be peeled off easily. Everything works great on this bike. We rode it about a thousand miles with no trouble. Oil and filter change are all I did along with a new battery this year. It’s the quickest CB750 I own. It is titled in North Dakota. It’s a small light bike perfect for running around town or cruising the highway; you can ride it home.
