Vehicle Detail
Classic 750. Shed find. Low mileage bike. We cleaned and adjusted the carbs and it runs fantastic. New battery, fuel lines, and fuel filter. Starts right up and idles strong. Excellent acceleration, cruises nicely. Shifts smoothly through every gear. Chrome and paint are very nice, but, sadly, the tank has a good ding on the left side. I bought this from an older couple in Barre VT. The guy had a big custom Harley and this was the wife's bike, but she hardly rode it. In recent years it had been sitting in the shed. They claimed the ding happened in a fall over while the bike was being trailered. The bike was registered in her name. She signed the registration over to me, and I will sign it over to you, along with a VT DMV bill of sale. Please note: Listing says clear title, as it is a required field, but Vermont will not title vehicles over 25 years old. So I do not have a title for the bike. The reg certificate is enough to get it titled in your state if required. It hasn't been inspected since 2013, so it will need a thorough going over to be fully roadworthy - but an easy project with great potential. It needs a new seal on tach cable drive (inexpensive 5 minute repair). It was leaking when I got it, I put two small o rings in there, and the leak is 90% fixed, but it needs the correct seal to be 100%. (weeps small amount of oil while running). They cost like 7 dollars on ebay, are readily available and are a five minute fix with a screwdriver. There are no other apparent oil or fuel leaks. The floor is clean and dry beneath the bike when stored. When I cleaned the carbs the gaskets were fine, the floats and jets looked good. This bike has an electronic ignition module, BTW. I think it might have been a new stock addition from Honda, as it is referenced in some of the manuals, but I'm not sure on that. This is a great bike that needs to be driven!
