My father bought this Honda in June 1972 from Rick Sherman, the sales manager at Honda City on Jersey Street (now Yawkey Way) in Boston MA. Build date is August 1971 but was sold/titled as a 1972. The AAA Accessories rack and backrest were installed in 1972. Recent tires are Dunlop F11 (front) & TT 100 (rear). The bike will fire but the carburetors need to be cleaned. Recent oil and filter, spark plugs, points cleaned and set and a K&N air filter. There is some light rust in the tank. The seat and backrest vinyl have no tears. The mufflers have the common rust malady. The bike is mainly original, the only cosmetic changes being a larger and brighter 1973 tail light, an aftermarket gas cap lock, moving the ignition switch to the handlebar (the original bracket is still under the left side of tank) and converting the front directionals to running and directional using double contact sockets. Everything (lights, horn, etc.) works as it should. Always garaged. Ask any questions.
