ABOUT DAVIS AUTOSPORTS Davis AutoSports is the leading Cherokee XJ builder, seller, restorer and now manufacture. The owner, Jonathan Davis lifted his first Cherokee back in 1997 while the XJ was still being produced and before it became the sought after vehicle is has become today. Fast forward to 2017 and Davis AutoSports is nationally and internationally known for their XJs, both in stock and modified form. With well over 400 Cherokees sold since being in business, many of which were built and restored, DAS truly has the experience needed to truly create the perfect XJ. It has been a learning curve over the years both in building the XJs and growing the the company, and now in 2017 we have hit full strive in what we do. There is no question, we were the first business to build these Cherokees and sell them on the market as a turn key modified XJ. In 2010 when we were getting started with heavily modifying the XJs we would build them one at a time in a 2,000 sqft facility with the owner and one technician and put each one up for sale. With each build, we gained more knowledge on the platform as well as parts to use and which NOT to use. With each Cherokee under our belt, we grew within the automotive industry and started to develop a name in the Jeep community. In 2012, Davis AutoSports expanded to a 6500 sqft facility and expanded our staff to 5 full time employees which made our team that much stronger. At this time our XJ builds truly became more than just a serviced and "modified" Jeep as they were previously. With the new team in place we now had professionals in different departments to create a complete XJ. With the rise in popularity with the XJ, we became the go to shop for everything XJ related besides the purchase of parts alone. In 2014, we grew out of 2nd facility and moved into a 24,800 sqft facility and our team grew to 10 full time employees including technicians, 12 volt specialist, custom interior, paint/body, and fabricator all which were in place for our Cherokee XJs. At this time, due to demand of our XJs, we were no longer regularly putting XJs on the market for sale but were taking custom orders per request of our customers. Every year, we attempt to better ourselves in quality and overall build specs. . In 2014 we started to offer a full restoration service all done in house for our XJ line up. Now in 2017 we are offering our Alpha XJ which surpasses our Stage 6 build as shown on our website, which includes a GM 6.0 LS Engine, GM Transmission, 4 Link Rear Suspension, and much more.
