This auction is for a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor (P71) that was used as a police vehicle. It has 123,387 original miles and is a rust-free California car. The car comes with a clear California title and has just passed a California smog test inspection (inspection report included). The car is sold without license plates. This vehicle is equipped with a 4.6L OHC SEFI V8 engine, electronic automatic overdrive transmission, 3.27 traction-lok rear axle, silicone coolant hoses, air conditioning, 8-way power driver’s seat, AM/FM radio, anti-lock brakes, tilt wheel, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, power trunk release, power adjustable pedals, rear window defroster and driver/passenger side air bags. The vehicle condition is consistent with most used nine year old police vehicles. This car runs and drives well and has not been involved in an accident. The transmission was replaced at 63,000 miles. The tires and brakes are good. Everything on the car works except the right rear door does not open from the inside (door opens from the outside), and the driver’s seat back will not recline. There are holes located in the roof and one in the truck lid which where used for police equipment (see photos). Both front doors have been painted flat black to comply with California regulations. The interior has been altered to allow for police equipment. The factory dome light was removed and an aftermarket dome light was installed by the sun visors. This dome light only works from a rocker switch, and does not go on automatically when the doors are opened. The vehicle comes with the factory jack but does not include a spare wheel or tire. No other parts or accessories come with this vehicle. This vehicle is owned and operated by a municipality and has always received regular preventive maintenance service. Included with the sale are the service/repair records for the car dating back to 2008, owner’s manual and original window sticker. Scheduled inspections of the vehicle may be made prior to the close of the auction. Full payment is due within seven (7) days from close of auction. The vehicle will not be released until payment has been received and cleared. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up and registration. We are unable to provide shipping quotes or locate/select a shipper. Vehicle must be picked up within 15-days from close of auction.
