Vehicle Detail
This is a 2002 M5 with angel eyes, full leather option incl. dashboard, alcantara headliner (not the standard material that's suspect for drooping in time), custom exhaust & stainless steel tips (original exhaust as loose parts goes w/ sale), EVO3 short shift kit & selector rod (makes a substantial difference), H&R coilovers (original suspension as loose parts goes w/ sale), low profile tires (fronts are at about 100 miles and rears at 2,000 miles). On the maintenance items, the cooling system, O2 sensor, power steering hoses, thrust arm bushings and drivetrain flex-disk guibo were replaced at 60k and front brakes redone w/ ceramic pads at 80k, other than that it's been just regular maintenance. The airbag recall was done 3 months ago. The last five years the maintenance items have been done by Blagois International at Columbus, Ohio. The cosmetic bodywork by a trusted local bodyshop I have used for over 15 years, e.g. the-previous-owner-installed roof (black) mat was removed, the roof repainted 2 months ago (matte black that accentuates the good looksof the car) and also the hood around the grille area was repainted. I have had the car for half-decade now. Unfortunately, it's one too many BMW's in the family. Sadly, this is the one that gets to be driven the least. The M5 belongs to Blue Ridge Pkwy type driving. But when I get to go to Blue Ridge, I usually end up riding one of my motorcycles instead. I have included photos in areas where the beginning body corrosion would typically occur, however, as can be seen there are no real signs of that. I contemplated keeping this eventually-to-be a collector item for myself, but I'm running out of storage place and am willing to let this M5 go, albeit it's not easy. Once before I put this for sale about 3 months ago w/ reserve, however, on this go-around it's all final, no reserve!! In case the above brief description doesn't cover it all, let me know with any questions, thanks.
