Furthermo...re, with each development, these Caymans continue to threaten the 911 in all out performance. By 2010, the new direct injection motor was standard making these some of the best-built Porsches. Their 265hp 2.9L flat 6-engine and 2,950lb weight gives these cars the perfect balance and are an absolute joy to drive. And, they still can get nearly 30mpg. Newport Beach Porsche sold this Cayman new on May 26th, 2010 to a local Orange County enthusiast. It was nicely equipped with the following factory options: Heated front seats 17” Cayman II wheels Manual transmission Sound package plus Automatic climate control Bluetooth interface for mobile phone XM radio Floor mats in interior color Universal audio interface Power seat package PCM 3.0 including extended navigation This owner traded the car back to the Porsche dealer where it went through the stringent certification process and was resold to a local PCA member/enthusiast as a Certified Pre-Owned Porsche on September 30th, 2013 with 25,000-miles. This owner and his family are long time enthusiasts who not only have a great collection of vintage cars, but are also in the automotive industry. They are meticulous about their vehicles’ look and care. This Cayman was certainly no exception. For the last 25k-miles, no service has been over-looked and most work has been done by the dealer. Furthermore, some very tasteful enhancements were installed by some of the best in the industry. Recent/significant services and upgrades include: 50k mile service completed on schedule Inspection by Porsche dealer last year Annual oil services Magnetic oil drain plug Air/Cabin filters and spark plugs (@40k miles) Rennline floor mats 19” HRE P40S satin black finished wheels Red painted brake calipers with Porsche insignia European ride height sport springs/vehicle corner balanced by Vision Motorsports GT3 gunmetal grey side graphics and red under mirror accents (all vinyl and can be removed) Rennline stainless steel foot pedals (originals included as well) Rennline passenger fire extinguisher mount Black ceramic rear exhaust tip Rebadged with 991 “Porsche” lettering (original stock “Cayman” logo included) ½” rear spoiler extension Clear front turn signals (original lenses included) This owner purchased a 996 GT3 from us last year and had us help him find a new owner for the Cayman. We sold it to another local Orange County enthusiast. This current owner has had the car for a little over a year and has added about 8k-miles. It was used as a part-time daily driver. During this time, he continued the excellent service regiment and had the following items performed: Oil service Front brakes and rotors Cabin air filter The recent owners have been servicing the car at Vision Motorsports (one of the top local independent Porsche specialists specializing in water cooled Porsches). On 5/26/17, this owner had Vision do a light inspection and found the car in excellent condition with no signs of damage. They checked for over-revs and there were no level 3 and above and only 12 cycles at level 2. This is incredibly low and certainly verifies it has not been misused. Unfortunately, due to his current garage situation, he no longer has room to keep this Porsche inside. So, unfortunately he has to part with it. The exterior of this Porsche looks fantastic. The paint is all original and verified with a paint meter (see pics). There are minimal signs of use. The wheels are in good shape with one wheel that has some slight curb rash (see pic). They are wearing Bridgestone tires with about 75% life left on the front and 35% life left on the rear. The front brakes have about 75% life remaining. The rear brakes have about 65% life. The car has never been tracked/raced. All the glass is original as well. The windshield is original and has some light pitting as well as some light chips on the front hood and bumper from normal use (see pics). The interior is equally as nice with hardly any signs of wear. The leather seats look great with no tears. The dash, carpet, door panels, and headliner all look new. All the gauges and buttons function properly. The A/C blows ice cold. From a driving perspective, this Cayman feels very tight and like a new car. The car shifts easily with no signs of clutch wear. The brakes are responsive and the power is strong. Everything works as it should. This Porsche comes complete with all of the owner’s manuals/books, extra key, factory tools, factory flat tire repair kit, and most service records.
