1977 Datsun 280Z; 5-speed manual, 2 door coupe; fuel injected Vin: HLS30-366766 Original Engine and Chassis mileage: 82,561 You are bidding on a fully restored (mechanically and cosmetically) 1977 Datsun 280Z. This car gets more attention and compliments than my vintage 911. I am looking to reduce my collection of vintage cars so my loss is your gain· Full body bare metal respray in 2011· 3,000 miles on rebuilt (2011) original L28 engine bored 40 over with a compression of 10.2 to 1 with flat top pistons, L7 Isky Cams generating 210 hp· New fuel injectors, catalytic converter has been removed, Motorsports free flow headers and exhaust system, and cold air intake potentially adds another 15-25 hp· Updated front and rear adjustable suspension system; updated brake master cylinder · Rebuilt 5-speed transmission shifts smoothly mated to a new clutch/master cylinder· Curb rash-free 15” Konig Rewind wheels on 225/50 R15 Yokohama ES100 tires· Vintage Air A/C has been added and blows cold · Kenwood AM/FM stereo with Ipod capability· Dash looks new (not a dash cap), seats and carpets are in very good condition· The car is regularly driven on weekends and I have spent over $4K in the past 18 months upgrading the alternator, H4 headlights, new ignition coil, new rotors, brakes, wheel bearings, brake fluid flush, re-braised welding and re-painted fuel tank, replaced transmission gear oil and seals, engine tune-up, oil/filter changes, and new chrome wheel lug nuts· I was planning on adding headlight covers and replacing both bumpers to the lighter 240z style, but decided to keep it stock and leave it for the next owner if they want to modify to the JDM look· Car comes with various spare parts including new headlight covers, new pair of bullet style exterior mirrors, new door and window seals, new front/rear bumper brackets, fuses, and oil filter· All lights/signals, horn, power antenna, and dash instruments work with the exception of the clock; no oil leaks, no fuel leaksImperfections: There is 3/4 in scratch on the driver side rear panel just below the Z emblem (as shown in the picture); door key does not lock/unlock passenger door; but can be unlocked or locked from the inside; previous owner had some touch up paint by the base of the exterior mirrors.
