This auction is for a two wheel drive 2003 Ford Ranger XL extra cab that was used as a police community service vehicle. It has 68175 original miles and is a rust-free California truck. The truck comes with a clear California title and has just passed a California smog test inspection (inspection report included). The truck is sold without license plates. This vehicle is equipped with a 3.0L EFI V6 engine, 5-speed automatic overdrive transmission, 3.73 rear axle, air conditioning, cruise control, AM/FM radio, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, tilt wheel, power steering, power brakes, driver/passenger side air bags, trailer hitch, rubber bed mat and aluminum tool box. The vehicle condition is consistent with most used 14 year old police vehicles. This truck runs and drives well and has not been involved in an accident or has ever been repainted. The tires and brakes are good. Everything on the truck works except for the amber lightbar. There are holes located in the roof which were used for police equipment (see photos) and the driver’s seat is torn. No other parts or accessories come with this vehicle. This vehicle is owned and operated by a municipality and has always received regular preventive maintenance service. Included with the sale are the service/repair records dating back to 2003 and the original window sticker. Scheduled inspections of the vehicle may be made prior to the close of the auction. Full payment is due within seven (7) days from close of auction. The vehicle will not be released until payment has been received and cleared. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up and registration. We are unable to provide shipping quotes or locate/select a shipper. Vehicle must be picked up within 15-days from close of auction.
