Up for sale is a 1987 Chevrolet El Camino. I am selling for a friend, who's grandfather bought the car new, here in Reno Nevada. It only has 76k miles on the odometer. It runs and drives great. Looks as though the gentleman took care of his cars. Buyer will pay a $500.00 deposit, immediately after auction ends. Obviously, the buyer will also handle all of the pickup and shipping. Below is the vehicles condition: Engine: 4.3 liter V6, with fuel injection. Runs great and has a good amount of torque! Recently serviced, with an oil, fuel filter, air filter change and all fluids topped off. Looks like it was serviced regularly. There may be a slight oil leak somewhere, but overall, everything looks great. Transmission: Automatic. No slipping or issues. Fluid smells like it should and it was serviced regularly. Suspension/brakes: Rides great. Has air shocks at the rear and they work. Brakes stop the car perfectly. There is a slight pulsating, that can be noticed at low speeds. Tires are Michelins and wheels are aftermarket American Racing. Tires have excellent tread, but from sitting, there is light cracking or "dry rot" on all 4. Body: Looks like its 2nd coat of paint. I threw a coat of wax on and hand wiped. Shines up great! A good detail will make it look fantastic. The paint is not perfect, as it has a few very light dings, some light chips and a couple small flaws. I don't think that the car has ever been in an accident. Since it is a Nevada car, I found no rust anywhere, except for a couple small spots near the upper driver door hinge. They don't look bad. Windshield was replaced at some point. All trim appears to be present. Outer headlamps were just replaced. Interior: Non smoker! Cigarette light and ashtray have never been used, except for some change, comb and used toothpicks.... Seats are actually in great condition. Driver side has a small tear, near the top/side.Has the folding arm rest. Dash has some cracks, which is why there is a cloth cover. Carpet has a couple holes on the driver side, but otherwise, in great shape. Everything works, except for the windshield washer sprayer. Maybe there is something in one of the lines.
